Hydra is Jim Slick, Charles Cole, and Andrew Slick. We are
three guitar players backed by pre-recorded background tracks
performed by us (Jim actually). The background tracks are
painstakingly recorded, mixed, and mastered in Jim's studio.
We deliver full band sound with three people, keeping our stage footprint smaller than most bands. We use a state of the art sound system featurning a digital console and up to 10,000 watts of front of house power for outdoor or larger venues, yet, we can scale it back to bare minimum for more intimate clubs. We can play at lower volumes, if need be, which most other bands cannot. Combined with LED lighting, for extrememly low power consumption, we deliver a show second to none for the cost.
